Ingredients
3 tbsp plain flour, plus extra, for dusting
salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1-2 tbsp warm water
4 tomatoes, halved
4 walnuts, halved
85g/3oz dolcelatte, sliced
2 slices Parma ham, halved
olive oil, for drizzling
watercress, for serving
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6.
2. Place the flour, seasoning to taste, and the water into a bowl. Mix well to
bind, then place onto a lightly dusted surface to roll out, to form a 20cm/8in
circle.
3. Place the flatbread into a frying pan over a high heat for 1-2 minutes,
before removing from the hob and placing onto a baking sheet.
4. Top with the tomatoes, walnuts, cheese and ham, and place into the hot oven
for 4-5 minutes, or until the cheese has begun to melt.
5. Remove from the oven, place onto a serving plate, drizzle with the olive oil,
and place a handful of watercress on top, to serve. |
