Ingredients
1 sheet ready-rolled puff pastry, cut into a 10cm/4in square
4 tbsp tomato purée
55g/2oz cream cheese
6-8 artichoke hearts, sliced
3-4 slices black forest ham, torn
3 figs, sliced
salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6.
2. Place the puff pastry onto a baking sheet.
3. Spread the tomato purée almost to the edges of the square.
4. Spread the cream cheese on top of the purée, then top with the artichoke
hearts, ham and sliced figs.
5. Season to taste, and cook in the hot oven for 8-10 minutes, or until cooked
and golden.
